Not all seats are created equal.
I've put together this bike seat, and I'm pretty proud of it. If you've joined our mailing list you'll have seen a little bit of it already but I figured I'd do a little bit of a more detailed breakdown in blog form. If this seat is up your alley make sure you shoot me an email to anvilcustoms@gmail.com!
Here I am tooling the art onto the seat. A sailing ship with clouds, Nautical Compass, Hibiscus Flowers and 6 Swallows.
Here the finished product is, Not sure how many hours I spent tooling and staining... it was a decent amount of work for sure.
I also have to shout out the seat mounts I put on here. They're machined by an old friend of mine out of Detroit, Fab Kevin. This particular mount is laser-cut 3/16 Stainless Steel, 100% tig welded. I can't say enough about the quality of his work. Definitely built to last. I also recommend giving him a follow on Facebook.
Here's a shot of the back side. Of course I had to put the classic Skull in Wheel art on the bottom side.
