Every time you scan through Facebook, turn on the T.V., or flick through stations on the radio you encounter something amazing. It probably seems annoying at first, but if you can allow yourself to step back and look at a larger picture, I promise you'll be impressed. You're probably tired of hearing about Colin Kaepernick of the 49ers refusing to stand for the National Anthem. And you're probably exhausted from hearing about the Dakota Access Pipeline. And I'm not even going to start on the deluge of misinformation and mudslinging related to the 2016 Presidential Election. The fact of the matter remains: People in Our Great Country are passionate about the things the believe in. They care to the point that they're willing to voice their opinions as loud and vehemently as possible. And the beautiful thing is this, they're totally allowed to do that. Our country has a wonderful history of protest. And while it may not change things as quickly as we'd like, many times it's proven to actually get stuff done. It's these "little revolts" -though at times they aren't so little- where American's exercise their freedoms that make America unique and great. Anvil is proud to operate in this Country, and you'll find no lack of Patriotism here. Even the parts we don't agree with we still appreciate.
Now with all that stoicism out of the way, we're going to go cut things and sew them back together while we listen to Rock & Roll and sip coffee. God Bless the U.S.A.
